Bonhomme's Ice Palace

Bonhomme invites all Carnival-goers to visit his brand-new 2026 Palace.

Under the theme “Local Legends,” the 2026 Palace takes you on an immersive journey through the folktales and legendary stories that have shaped the soul of Québec. These tales, deeply rooted in our culture, come to life through the Palace’s ice sculptures, enchanting young and old while showcasing our heritage to the world.

Among the legends highlighted:

• Rose Latulippe
• The Bridal Veil — the legend of Montmorency Falls
• The Carnival Legend
• The Bonhomme Seven O’Clock Man

Vivre Ensemble Project

As part of Bonhomme’s Ice Palace, students from the Francisation program at Rochebelle High School imagine an original legend inspired by their cultures, their dreams, and their daily lives. Through this collective work, every difference becomes a strength and every journey a source of inspiration.

This project is much more than an artistic creation: it is a human encounter, a tribute to openness, inclusion, and the hope for a united world.
